Kevin and Nicolle LaFave purchased the pottery studio in the month of April in the year 2008. The business became a family oriented, Christian based art studio.

Nicolle originally went to cosomotology school and worked as a hairdresser and nail artist until she became a stay at home mother to her five children. She has always been artistic, filling her free time with painting on canvas, painting and making pottery as well as many other crafts. She is very passionate about art, children and families. God called her to buy the pottery studio and turn it into a loving, fun filled business for families and friends to enjoy. Kevin conducts the business and labor side of the pottery studio, he keeps himself busy with website updates, accounting, creating brochures and business cards. He also does repairs for the shop when needed as well as pouring molds and cleaning the greenware; but this is only his part-time job. Kevin holds a full time position as a Physician Assistant at a local hospital.
Jenesi Molnar - Artist and Employee

Jenesi has lived in WA. her entire life, "Its an amazing place to live because of the amount of local art and art opportunities that we have." She has been working for Art and Clay Studio for 3 years now and studied Fine Arts at Pacific Lutheran University for 3 years. "I've always been interested in drawing and art since I was little. When I was 14 I took my first watercolor painting lessons and thats when I knew I wanted to be a painter. I took as many art classes as I could after that; including, Art History, Graphic Design, Oil Painting, Sculpture, Pottery, Drawing, as well as Landscape/Cityscape Painting. I was also very inspired (Artistically) by my writing and religion classes as well." Jenesi occasionally sells her oil paintings, watercolors and other commision work on the side. "I work on portraits,abstracts,nature scenes,taxidermy pieces/painting antler sets, glazing pottery in my free time.
